Head - Marketing - SaaS/FinTech Startup - IIM/ISB/FMS/MDI (10-20 yrs)

This opportunity is with a Series A funded Saas/ Fintech startup based in Pune. Their primary customers are Financial Institutions - Private Banks, Public Sector Banks, NBFC, DCCB, RRB.

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and growth for the platform. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, data-driven decision-making, and hands-on execution.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and managing high-performing marketing teams, launching successful marketing campaigns, and driving customer acquisition in the B2B SaaS space.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to support the company's growth objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals, target market, and brand positioning.

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.

- Define and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve maximum ROI.

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.

- Develop and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, leveraging inbound and outbound strategies, content marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, events, and other relevant channels.

- Drive customer acquisition and lead generation initiatives, leveraging effective conversion strategies, demand generation programs, and lead nurturing campaigns.

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales enablement tools, materials, and programs.

- Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the leadership team, and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.

- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to support marketing initiatives and enhance brand presence.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, continuously evaluating and adopting new marketing technologies, tools, and strategies to drive innovation.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Master from Top Tier

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on B2B SaaS marketing.

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns in the SaaS or fintech industry.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performing marketing teams.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

- Solid understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and stories for different target audiences.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
