Head - Marketing - Leading Australian Retail Stores


- To strategize, develop and execute brilliant, effective and impactful social media, retail marketing and customer experience enhancement programs and initiatives. The objective is to grow the Brand NPS, consumer traffic in Own Stores, Own E-Com platforms and build brand saliency and therefore positively impact growth in sales of all channels and enrich brand image.

- 12-15 years of relevant experience in retail marketing, brand management, CRM and customer experience with a premium/super premium brand in a women centric lifestyle category. Should have led the marketing function or have prior experience in leading a brand management team for at least 2-3 years

- Post Graduate Diploma (MBA - Marketing) Brand Management and Strategic Marketing

- Thought and execution leadership in Digital & Social media Marketing with exposure to Omni channel marketing

- Campaign Management ( brand ambassador management skills, PR, Developing TVC etc)

- CRM & Loyalty Program management

- Budget management and control skills

- Advanced Excel skills, High on Ethics / Integrity

- Strong leadership behaviors

- Prepare the annual marketing budget & allocate resources.

- Review the budgets & report on the utilization of the budgets periodically. Develop and execute a fully integrated brand & digital marketing communications plan supporting the overall brand & business strategy.

- Develop concept/ brand attributes and positioning strategy in line with the concept objectives.

- Implement the brand guidelines - making sure they are followed and adapted appropriately across mediums and channels.

- Develop brand campaigns or customize international campaign for Indian consumers.

- Gain market Intelligence through primary research, secondary information sources to continuously monitor, analyze and update business perspectives on the market, competitors & customers

- Enhance customer experience through Mystery Audits

- Coach and mentor the customer care team for quick and effective resolution of customer queries/complaints.

- Drive the loyalty program to make customer loyalty stronger and drive better repeat sales.

- Lead Customer profile Personalisation/Marketing Automation to create personalised communication for each cluster of customers

- Drive new customer acquisition

- Conceptualise and drive brand and digital campaigns

- Position brand as a thought leader in the category and deliver consistent communication on digital channel.

- Lead content generation for all social platforms to drive the brand objectives.

- Manage and handle all marketing agencies like Digital/Social, Events and Media agency

- Review performance and advice on the corrections to make sure all of them deliver as per the KPIs set.

- Develop the Brand Ambassador strategy to generate PR and new customers for the brand

- Building brand affinity by Creating a strong brand community of Influencers, bloggers, stylists, feature writers and fashion editors.

- Derive learnings and insight from consumers that can be imbibed in immediate or upcoming campaigns

- Accountable for driving store footfalls and sales of all the stores

- Develop Annual & quarterly marketing plan and strategy for all stores.

- Budget v/s sales achievement 

- Develop marketing strategy and plan for new store launches and their support plan to sustain footfalls.

- Monitor performance of each store per the key metrics- weekly, monthly and yearly

- Evaluation of ROI for all regional marketing activations and initiatives.

- Drive traffic and revenue for the e-commerce business.

- Responsible for traffic planning & secondary sales for all online partners.

- Maintain brand consistency across channels. Create and maintain a team culture that embodies the FN brand values

- Ensure open and honest half yearly feedbacks and coaching on team performance consistently and on an ongoing basis

- Recruit - best fit- team members as and when required

- Ensure all team members complete induction

- Identify training needs of direct reports to develop their skills and maximise performance

- Conduct probationary and annual reviews and development plans for all team members

- Conduct performance management sessions with Team Members as required in consultation with Human Resources

- Maximise employee succession and retention through identifying highly skilled team Members

- Retain direct reports through strong engagement, coaching and support

- Self-awareness and professionalism to be objective about own performance and actively seek advice and feedback from Country Manager
