Head - Marketing - Real Estate (12-15 yrs)

We are looking for a Head of marketing with the real estate organization

Location: Mumbai

Key purpose of the job :


- The Role is responsible for the formulation and implementation of the branding strategy of the assigned brand and will be accountable to develop the overall corporate and project brand equity. The role is also required to lead product development for the Brand by driving on the ground market research and through the market intelligence team

Strategic :


 Ensure formation and implementation of the branding strategy of the assigned brand in order to secure a competitive edge in the market place (pricing, new products, advertising & sales promotion) 


- Undertake end accountability to develop the overall corporate and project brand equity 


- Ensure a good understanding and tracking of customer trends for the particular brand to provide insights for key decisions by deploying brand managers on the ground to collect MI and through market research


 - Drive the development of new products and concepts and ensure that consumer insights are a key part of such decisions 


- Develop sales strategies at both the Project and Brand level in collaboration with the strategy and Sales team for the same.


 - Build strategic brand alliances (e.g. luxury brand linked projects), brand ambassadors (e.g. celebrities), ATL and BTL branding activities in collaboration with Head Strategic Alliances

Operational :


- Ensure all the products/ properties are effectively covered by the marketing plan and appropriate marketing initiatives


 - Participate in the selection and approve selection of service partners, agencies 


- Manage and monitor the overall marketing and sales budget for assigned brand to achieve maximum value


 - Collaborate with Design, Engineering & other departments to ensure faster monetization of projects 


- Develop the pricing strategy for each project to meet the business plan in collaboration with the Brand Sales Heads 


- Provide strategic direction on brand communication mix, media selection and sales promotion and PR activities based on product segment and customer profile 


 - Drive brand leadership of company in all operating regions 


- Guide and leverage the PR mechanism as required 


 - Drive the Brand communication initiatives to support sales objectives - Interact with brand consultants to ensure alignment of brand story to the project - Leverage MI data to ensure high accuracy and limited changes to the overall scope of the project. 


 - Develop the sales strategy for a project in collaboration with the project sales head of the relevant project and the strategy team.

Developmental :


- Recruit appropriate talent where required for work area 


 - Carry out performance appraisals, assess capability, and training needs of individuals in the function. 


- Career planning for employees through guiding, coaching, mentoring and motivating them towards superior team performance & for achieving department and units objectives. 


 - Develop team's capabilities and keep updated with the latest trends

Internal & External Interactions - Internal : Sales, Planning & Designing, Engineering & Legal External: Advertising agencies, Media Planning Agency, Digital Agency, BTL Agencies, Event Management Agencies

Education & Experience Requirement :  MBA Marketing

- 12-15 years of experience with experience in sales, product portfolio management and Agency management


 - Experience of branding premium & luxury products is required
