Job Opening - Marketing Operations Head - Leading Oil and gas Company - Mumbai


1. JOB PURPOSE

- To meet demand of retail network in time through various own & hired supply locations in right Quality and Quantity ensuring Marketing Profitability.

- Statutory and Safety compliance at own & hired supply locations

- To ensure IT infrastructure at the locations and proper training of location officers in SOPs, IQCM and SAP.

- Ensuring adherence to safety and security guidelines at own & hired locations.

- Ensuring conducive relationship with terminal service providers for smooth conduct of activities

- Ensuring timely availability of various resources and consumables at supply locations

- Close monitoring of location performances wrt TAT in loading, Quality & Quantity Assurances, other operating parameters etc and ensuring timely actions for required corrective actions.

- Ensuring timely replenishment of stocks

- Inculcate safety culture among Depot Operation team, Transporter and TT Crew

- Ensuring actions to keep transit as well as operating losses under control.

- Review of facilities required at new proposed/upcoming depots and provide required inputs to ensure development of facilities in desired manner.

3. ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ACCOUNTABILITIES :

ACTIVITIES:

1. To meet full Demand of Sales Team - Ensuring uptime of facilities and commissioning of new own depots

2. Logistics - Ensuring proper utilization of TTs and assessing additional requirement of TTs for timely augmentation of fleet.

3. Statutory and Safety Compliance - Timely filing of returns/renewals

- Use of Proper PPEs and safety compliance as per Norms at Locations

- Ensuring timely inspection of depots and follow up for compliance of observations

4. Agreements with Service Providers - Timely signing/renewal of Agreements

5. Ensuring timely availability of consumables and various equipment at locations - Coordinating with concerned departments for timely replenishment

6. Co-ordination with Railway - To understand various policies and updates to address operational and commercial issues with Railway at various own depots

7. Ensuring adherence to SOPs and guidelines - To ensure timely inspections of Depot

- Follow up for materialisation of observations to achieve operational excellence

8. Inculcate Safety Culture - To drive safety culture among Depot Managers

- To encourage Transporters and TT crews in driving safety in their acts

9. Optimisation of Stock Losses - To monitor and analyse transit losses and ensure timely actions for corrective actions to minimise

10. Providing inputs and review of facilities at upcoming/new depots - To review various documents and drawings and provide inputs for required corrective actions right from design and detail engineering of the facilities.

- To commission upcoming facilities.

- Safe and secure handling of products

- Keeping transit and operational losses under control

- Augmentation of TT fleet with focus on utilization of higher capacity TTs

- Driving safety culture among operating personnel, contractors, transporters and TT crews

- Maintaining transparency in release of product and utilisation of fleet

- Providing timely inputs to project team.

8. SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

A. Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

1. Engineering Graduate preferably with degree/diploma in Operations Management

B. Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:

Relevant Experience: Minimum 15 years with five years of functional experience in Oil Industry in operating petroleum handling depot/terminal/port facilities

C. Functional Skills:

1. Knowledge of supply sources viz. Refinery/TOPs/Depots/Terminals of Indian Oil Industry and geographical spread of India.

2. SAP SD and MM module

3. Awareness of Oil Industry Manuals/Guidelines wrt quality, quantity like IQCM,OISD, MDG, TDG

4. Awareness of Statutory Requirements/Railways Operation/Commercial Rules relevant to Oil Industry
