We are looking for an experienced marketer to join our team to lead consumer customer acquisition for our web and mobile products. You will report to our C-level product executive and will have full autonomy to acquire consumer customers at scale while optimizing CAC.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys taking a scientific/quant approach to customer acquisition and who loves to try out creative out-of-the-box growth tactics or hacks while also running the playbook of tried and true consumer customer acquisition techniques.
Job Responsibilities :
- Own end-to-end campaign planning and execution across multiple digital channels to drive new consumer customer acquisition
- Execute tried and true 2-sided marketplace consumer customer acquisition channels while constantly killing those that don't meet success criteria and doubling down on those that do
- Constantly try new and creative growth tactics/hacks that may or may not have ever been done before
- Fully own ad creative, copy, assets and landing pages so that you are fully empowered and unhindered to succeed in your job
- Optimize conversion rates at all times
- Run lots and lots of A/B tests
- Manage your own pre-defined customer acquisition budget with full autonomy
- Solely responsible for organic search rankings for any and all consumer search terms
- Identify, engage or hire any and all resources needed to be successful
- Identify, purchase, or subscribe to any and all tools, products and services needed to be successful
- Report frequently to CEO and C-level product exec using actual data to compile unit economics and cohort analysis overall and by channel, campaign, tactic
- Constantly sync with customer interfacing, sales, product, and B2B lead acquisition teams
Requirements :
- Proven success in applicable consumer customer acquisition role
- Ability to operate in a fully autonomous manner i.e. to be a "one woman" or "one man" show. Should be able to execute unencumbered by dependence on internal copywriters, designers, developers
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, MixPanel, KISS, etc.)
- Expert in viral mechanics and referrals
- Expert in SEO and organic search
- Expert with PPC and other paid tactics (e.g. Google Adwords, etc.)
- Expert in content marketing and content magnets
- Expert in landing page and conversion rate optimization tactics
- Data-driven mindset and practitioner of the build -> measure -> learn -> repeat approach
- Self-starter and able to to excel without a lot of structure and micromanagement
- Analytical and creative thinking
- Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about learning new techniques and best practices
