Head of Marketing & Communication About the Role : - Reporting to the COO, as the Head of Marketing & Communication, you will set and guide the strategy for all communications, website, and public relations messages and collaterals to consistently articulate ' mission to existing and prospective supporters. You will use your skill and insight to drive creativity and enthusiasm in the team to enlist new supporters for the mission and grow existing relationships. - As Head of Marketing & Communications, you will be a part of the leadership team at Foundation. You will work closely with a senior peer group within the organisation as the communications partner on various strategic initiatives. Responsibilities : - You will develop, implement, and evaluate the annual communications plan for : - Lead the generation of online content that engages audience segments and leads to measurable action. Decide who, where, and when to disseminate. - Mentor and lead the creative team responsible for writing and designing all communications collateral including managing the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and elect b /tyronic collateral like mailers, brochures, films, ' website, and social media. - Identify and put in place resources, teams and tools to create momentum and awareness as well as test the effectiveness of communications activities. - Guide team members responsible for website administration and coordination, social media engagement and growth, and donor engagement and retention. - Coordinate and organise annual fundraising events, leading the team in planning and execution. - Build and manage the organisation's media contacts. Must-Haves : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Media, Marketing or Mass Communication - At least ten years of communications experience, with ideally at least 2-3 years in an "in-house" leadership role managing a variety of constituents at a for-profit or nonprofit entity - Proficient knowledge of social media, website, email communications, and functional knowledge of design - Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills - A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of critical initiatives concurrently
