Head - Marketing - Medical Device Industry (10-17 yrs)

Opening for Head of Marketing


We have an urgent opening for one of the MNC for Head Of Marketing-Mumbai(Kurla).

Preferably looking form Medical device industry.

II. Key responsibilities:

- Critical Knowledge and Qualifications: Knowledge of the healthcare market, robust business / P&L acumen

- Critical Skills/technical know-how: Must be an advance user of Digital Marketing, CRM and S&D platforms / ERP

Critical Experience:

- Atleast 10+ years total work experience in healthcare sales and marketing (global specialty pharma organization or medical devices), with 2+ years sales experience. Having proven track record of leading a large team in matrix environment (atleast 3 years in team management role is mandatory)

- Overall responsibility for marketing of the standardized & customized product portfolio and Envista brand as well as leading the training & education function. Also responsible for building up digital marketing and inside sales functions with end-to-end responsibilities and KPIs being clearly charted out and also establishing clear linkage with other related functions like customer service and sales.

- Creating marketing plans in line with global initiatives for the training and education workshops and executing them with the team. Responsible for overseeing the T&E alignment with the plan, ensuring the right strategy adoption for T&E calendar in zones.

- Responsible for customer segmentation and product positioning. Ensuring the right approach is adopted while doing the segmentation.

- Tracking and reporting of market trends including competitor activities.

- Oversee the pricing, discounting as well as secure the right branding and impart key messages at events and exhibitions.

- Guiding team wrt plans designing collaterals which include brochures and posters for doctors and patients, promotional offers and training and education brochures and ensure right distribution at appropriate forums.

- Building relations with key customers as well as potential customers by frequent market visits.

- Plan and conduct regular information meetings with the different functions in the organisation in order to update them on new products, changes, promotions, campaigns, etc.

- Secure compliance to branding guidelines and global initiatives.

- Responsible for local launch plans for new products and solutions for the Indian market based on global launch plans and regulatory time plans.

- Guiding the T&E team in helping them to devise proper follow up mechanism post training and analyse the improvement areas along with appropriate action plans.

- Continuously guide, motivate & coach the team members in marketing and training and education functions.

- Establish and build the digital presence of the brand in the market.

- Proficiency in MS Office, and understanding of Adobe Acrobat, Graphic Design & Publication tools, Web Designer and Internet media use and applications.

- Effective planning, organization, and leadership skills.

- Strong analytical & outstanding problem-solving skills.

- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.

- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and relationship development skills.

- Ability & experience interfacing at all levels of the organization.

- Strategic vision while balancing successful execution.
