Summary of Role Responsibilities
- Develop the complete marketing strategy and plan for the year
- Formulate communication strategy consistent with Home Centre's market positioning and business strategy
- Counter GTM of Competition as and when required
- Formulate Social Media Marketing strategy for Home Centre
- Optimize 'Space On Hire'
- Set and achieve Gift Cards sales target
- Generate positive brand disposition through an effective PR strategy
- Develop a strong, consistent and innovative in-store branding / marketing approach and creative document
- Develop a strong brand identity and positioning for Home Centre Brand
- Develop an ideal media mix for maximum reach at the most competitive media buying rates
- Ensure positive return on investment for targeted marketing activities, like events and promotions
- Drive launch activities for new stores which are innovative, impactful and cost effective
- Ensure timely launch of all marketing campaigns and promotions to the front end with a 360- degree approach
- Plan and formulate cost efficient budget for Marketing function
- Build and manage the team to maximize performance.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy:
- Participate as an integral member in the strategic planning process and provide support and inputs into the organization's annual financial planning and budgeting
- Develop the complete marketing strategy and plan for the year
- Formulate communication strategy consistent with Home Centre's market positioning and business strategy
- Formulate Social Media Marketing strategy for Home Centre
- Contribute to business development by providing relevant consumer research and catchment analysis prior to making property commitments
- Provide macro level consumer insights through market research and consumption indexes to identify trends and opportunities
- Counter GTM of Competition as and when required
- Optimize 'Space On Hire'
- Set and achieve Gift Cards sales target
- Generate positive brand disposition through an effective PR strategy
- Develop a strong, consistent and innovative in-store branding / marketing approach and creative document
- Ensure growth in footfalls and customer engagement by developing an optimal marketing mix consisting of above and below the line activities
Brand Positioning :
- Develop a strong brand identity and positioning for Home Centre Brand
- Develop an ideal media mix for maximum reach at the most competitive media buying rates
- Develop new engagement platforms beyond conventional media and activations - create brand properties and occasions to buy.
Marketing Activities:-
- Ensure positive return on investment for targeted marketing activities, like events and promotions
- Oversee development and execution of concept specific marketing strategies
- Drive launch activities for new stores which are innovative, impactful and cost effective
- Derive innovative and interactive way of product branding in-store
- Ensure timely launch of all marketing campaigns and promotions to the front end with a 360- degree approach
- Ensure timely coordination of photo shoots and launch of catalogues
Budgeting :-
- Plan and formulate cost efficient budget for Marketing function
- Ensure adherence to the annual marketing budget through tight monitoring of the marketing expenses
People Management:-
- Build a high performing team
- Set expectations and give regular feedback to the team to maximize performance
- Guide, coach, train and develop the team
