Head - Marketing - FMCG (7-18 yrs)

Experience:

7 -10 years of Marketing Experience in FMCG. Must have a good understanding of FMCG Sales and Distribution systems with a track record of executing Rural Marketing campaigns. Understanding of the Southern Indian markets will be an added advantage.

The incumbent should be an MBA from reputed institute and must possess excellent communication and analytical skills.

The Role:

Marketing Head is a leadership role in the organisation and the individual will play a key role in strategy development and will engage with all the external, internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of Marketing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop the Marketing Master plan for deployment. Plans built on careful evaluation of the right marketing mix.

- Product and brand lifecycle planning. Participates in the product development process of existing segments and new segments.

- ATL (Television, radio, or billboards)/ E Commerce/ Social Media/ Publicity (Newspaper/ Media): Design and execute the strategy for promotion marketing and communication. Experience in handling advertising agency and research agency is important. Experience in digital marketing is an added advantage.

- Trade & Customer Marketing/BTL/ Event Management: Evolves and executes marketing campaigns / collaterals for existing products and new launches.

Must be proficient in handling Dealer Engagement programs, Trade Marketing plans, Retail Visibility, and other relevant and tactical Sales Promotion activities.

- Market Research and Consumer insights leading to strategic inputs in product development, pricing, promotion for the category.

- Collaborate with different sales channels to ensure execution of marketing programs. Extensively work with the business and sales teams to ensure proper pricing, supply chain and logistics, leading to cost effective solutions

- Institutionalize systems and processes to track competitive actions in the category and allied categories. Update business teams on emerging trends.

- Monitor formal and informal Consumer feedback and drive interventions

- Review the progress of all Marketing initiatives and drive achievement of KPI's.

- Plans the marketing spend, allocate the resources and analyse the spends. Ensure a healthy ROI and ensure course corrections based on what is working and correct for the business.

- Strategizes on all content development activities along with the digital and other agencies after carefully understanding brand objectives.
