Head - Marketing - FinTech (10-15 yrs)

This recently established new age financial institution is registered with RBI as a Non-Deposit taking NBFC and is strongly backed by established investors. They operate in the SME lending space with the aim of helping to fuel India's economic growth. The founders and partners have been industry leaders in their practice and are very well renowned globally in Financial Services space including partners in bulge bracket investment banks and leading global consulting firms.

Based out of BKC (Mumbai) with an office in Bangalore, this NBFC has built a strong core team and is preparing for launch across India. To further strengthen its leadership, they are looking for a Marketing Head to work closely with and support the CEO and the various business heads as they further establish their brand presence and grow business lines.

Responsibilities :

- Lead all marketing, brand building and customer insights strategies across the organisation with a view to building a strong market presence and drive various businesses

- Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product launches to drive interest, brand awareness and sales (B2B and B2C)

- Be the go-to expert for driving performance marketing and growth strategies for driving business growth, customer acquisition and retention strategies

- Optimising campaigns across multiple channels to deliver the best return on investment

- Formulating strategies for paid/unpaid ad campaigns across search, display, social and retargeting networks

- Identifying replicable marketing strategies, tactics and channels that address business pain points

- Have innovative and creative strategies to drive brand marketing on new age digital channels (social media marketing, branding etc)

- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and media strategy for marketing initiatives

- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share

- Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)

- Have the ability to lead and build a team

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of marketing (incl digital marketing) experience with some experience as a Head of Marketing/VP Marketing. Fintech experience is a plus, not mandatory

- Strong understanding and ability to lead all facets of digital marketing including customer acquisition, merchant engagement etc.

- Quantitative bent, strong analytical skills

- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

- MBA in Marketing from a top institute
