Our client is a EdTech startup that enables every person to pursue a career of their preference by training them in careers across content, visual arts, design, business, finance and thus enabling them to become entrepreneurs, financial analysts, writers and more. Through these years, it has trained more than 2.5lakhs students in their beginner programme and almost 6000 in advanced bootcamps.
Headquartered in Bangalore, our client was co-founded by a team of four young veteran entrepreneurs who were all specially mentioned by Forbes 30 under 30. It has raised close to $4.5 in funds so far and ran completely bootstrapped for four years before that.
As a Marketing Head, you will be leading company's B2C marketing efforts, focusing on Growth including performance and Organic and brand building.
What you need to do:
- Building and leading the marketing team across performance marketing, organic social + YouTube, content, and creative marketing
- Defining and executing marketing strategies to position the company as the go-to destination for career-building programs.
- Leading and overseeing performance across all marketing channels, including paid and organic, to achieve ROI aligned with business objectives.
- Utilizing data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns, targeting, customer segmentation, and brand positioning.
- Driving lead generation strategies to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Developing lead nurturing programs to improve conversion rates and maximize results.
- Creating and executing a comprehensive content strategy that attracts potential customers and establishes the company as a leader in career-building programs.
- Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities.
- Utilizing analytics and metrics to track performance, make data-driven decisions, and refine marketing strategies.
- Working closely with sales, product, programs, and other cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Building and leading a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
What you need to have:
- Proven track record in marketing for an Edtech company, preferably in the skilling (skill-tech) sector.
- MBA is a must.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
