Job Title: Head of E-commerce Marketing

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Bangalore

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Managing and developing smytten's entire E-Commerce business.

- Design and implement a b2c-commerce strategy that is in line with the brand's vision and integrated with the sales approach.

- Driving the formation of new product launches, promotional strategies, and internal collaborations with business development and marketing teams.

- Take complete responsibility form Ideation to execution of the campaigns.

- Establishing and executing the marketing strategy in accordance with the overall business goals while

achieving a balance between longer-term strategic brand-building efforts and mid-term lead generation.

- To make sure marketing initiatives are resulting in profitable acquisitions resulting in track, analyze, and report Key performance indicators.

- Use web analytics, business intelligence tools, and internal dashboards to better understand our customers and leverage those insights in marketing campaigns.

- End-to-end revenue & P&L responsibility of Ecommerce

- Oversee a team across paid media channels (Paid Search, Display, Paid Social, and Direct Mail) to ensure new customer growth.

- Developing an annual operating plan based on the brand's annual top-line and bottom-line plans.

- Take complete control over the top and bottom lines of all brands.

- Analyze market trends and drive category leadership in all of the business categories.

- Driving development and change, establishing the company's brand, and ensuring we have the people and teams in place to deliver on the ground.

- Managing and developing a consumer offer strategy to align with corporate objectives.

Essential Experience:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience working within a pureplay ecommerce business out of which atleast 3 years into leading the e commerce business team.

- Build the team with a good understanding of categories.

- Built an ecommerce business from a small base to a significant scale.

- Experience of either working in an omnichannel, retail or pureplay ecommerce business

- Experience of building a digital ecommerce platform (either directly or indirectly)

- Experience of working for a premium consumer product business

- Strong e-commerce conversion and referral experience.

- Experience of managing external agencies and/or partners (e.g., financial services, tech development, marketing, fulfilment outsource)

- Commercial as well as strategic mind-set and understanding of forward planning and creative solutions
