We have been retained by Knowledge Solution organisation - specialized in Data Science and Life Science to search for Head Marketing Based out of Hyderabad

Role Title : Head Marketing

Reporting : CEO

Location : Hyderabad

The Head -Marketing will be responsible for planning, development and execution of the Company's marketing initiatives which should result in generating increase in revenue, visibility and positioning of the brand. The role reports into the CEO.

The position has three key purposes :

(1) Develop an active eco-system in order to enhance company's sales and customer footprint - help win more deals

(2) Articulate, build and enhance company's brand, maintain consistency of experience for the external as well as internal stakeholders

(3) Enhance its market presence and visibility

As Head of Marketing, the incumbent will be responsible for creation of an efficient global marketing roadmap. He/she is required to develop a close working relationship with the client acquisition team and act as a catalyst in order to help them win more deals.

KEY Deliverables of the Role :


- Craft strategies for all Marketing teams, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative. Establishing a clear linkage between marketing and its contribution to sales or revenue moves marketing from being a discretionary expense to a strategic business driver.

- Ensure that high-quality services are delivered effectively, efficiently and consistently, whether it is direct or indirect communications.

- Driving Sales Support - Manage the lead-gen engine, oversee the implementation of campaigns and make recommendations for optimization including reporting on campaigns ensuring suitable actionable insights are provided to Sales and Business Heads

- Curating and driving thought leadership - unique perspective on current scenario/ topics relevant for the customers. Develop marketing stories for existing products/Services and launch of new product/services

- Work closely with the global sales teams to understand what messaging resonates with customers, and optimise communications as necessary

- Review competitive positioning in the market and ensure we are clearly communicating our point of difference

- Organizing company conferences, trade shows, and major events

- Communication with sales team and consistency of brand positioning including the clarity of commercial product/services offering, positioning and benefits across the global market.

Success Metrics/ Experience & Education

- The candidate should have worked in new age business of big data analytics/ AI, IT Services / bio-technology services organizations which have a progressive and well development Marketing functions.

- He /she should have had exposure to developing marketing strategies which translate into leadgen, sales support with a measurable and tangible ROI.

- Exposure to conversion of the strategy into action by using the most effective tools of marketing be it digital, print or electronic media.

- Demonstrate strong leadership skills in guiding the sales team along with highly developed inter-personnel skills to work closely with the business heads to develop a consensus on different marketing initiatives or strategies.

- Experience of at least 10 years in roles requiring the above skills.

- Should have high quality academic background, with a degree in management with specialization in Marketing.
