Head - Marketing - Consumer Durable/FMCD (12-15 yrs)
1. Strategic thinking and planning - Design and deploy robust annual and quarterly marketing plan keeping the category, consumer and channel objectives in cognizance
2. Nurturing the brand and its presence in key segments - Create a comprehensive marketing mix that addresses long term goals to build a distinctive brand and short-term demand generation objectives
3. Brand development - today has a portfolio of brands; will have the responsibility to build compelling differentiation and distinctiveness for the brand portfolio in the marketplace across touchpoints - social media, advertising, retail experience and e-commerce.
4. Operational excellence and support to the consumer segment team - Set systems and processes to ensure on time, in full delivery of marketing plans, measurement of outcomes and timely communication with the HQ segment team and regional sales leaders. S/he also needs to manage joint marketing plans with top e-tail accounts
5. Developing a cohesive team and grooming top talent for future growth - Coach and mentor team members for core functional skills, leadership behaviors and build a succession plan for key marketing roles
