Head - Marketing - Consulting Firm (5-10 yrs)
As a rapidly growing social enterprise, we are seeking a Director of Marketing to spearhead holistic, special marketing, PR, and communications campaigns in order to achieve viral awareness for rePurpose Global's B2B work on a global level. The role of these special campaigns in our growth trajectory is to complement regular, periodic direct marketing channels (e.g. SEO, Ads, email) with indirect, large-scale, and viral tactics to build consumer awareness for plastic neutrality as a concept, activate consumer advocacy to pressure CPG brands to take climate action, and portray rePurpose Global as a powerful, global movement for planetary change that every business wants to associate itself with. You will be reporting directly to the Co-Founder & CMO, while having a full-time Marketing Campaigns Manager reporting under you to support the execution of these special campaigns
Specific Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research, brainstorm and pitch holistic campaign concepts to CMO and leadership team throughout the calendar year (e.g. Earth Day, holiday season, Plastic Free July)
- Liaison with a variety of external stakeholders and partners to amplify the reach of your special campaigns (e.g. celebrities, influencers, prominent non-profits, brand clients)
- Manage the Marketing Campaigns Manager to deliver on logistical components
- Provide creative briefs to and collaborate with the Directors of other teams in rePurpose Global's marketing division in order to produce necessary assets for your campaigns (e.g. social media creatives, press releases, Mailchimp emails, web pages)
- Devise and execute systems that measure the quantitative and qualitative impact of special
campaigns on sales leads, campaign reach, and brand equity
What We're Looking For:
- Past project management & managerial experience (must-have), preferably in marketing
- Past experience in leading holistic marketing campaigns, strongly preferred
- Proven understanding across entire B2C / B2B marketing mix (graphic design, ads, email, web UI/UX, PR, social media), with deep expertise in a couple of marketing channels Good working knowledge of key marketing & design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, MailChimp, Zapier, Hubspot, Google Analytics, SEMRush, and Canva
- Strong verbal communicator capable of forming and nurturing key relationships with celebrities, prominent leaders, brands, and other relevant stakeholders
- Past work experience in sustainability or in other related sectors strongly preferred (e.g. consumer goods, entrepreneurship, social impact, international development)
- Understand and strongly capable of applying concepts that straddle between business strategy and marketing strategy (e.g. CAC, pricing, conversion rates, financial metrics)
- Have a knack for punchy language and elegant visual aesthetics that drives action
- Have an unparalleled level of raw creativity & passionate for creative projects inside you
- Adapt well to the fast-paced dynamic nature of a startup environment, with specific acumens such as rapid prototyping, resourcefulness and creative problem solving
