Head - Marketing/CMO - Online/Internet - IIT/IIM/FMS/MDI (10-18 yrs)
Role & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall marketing function encompassing Brand Marketing, Partner Marketing & Performance Marketing.
- Responsible for creating monthly & quarterly marketing plan, strategy and team
- Preparing and reviewing monthly & quarterly budgets, and allocating resources appropriately
- Designing, planning and executing effective marketing campaigns in line with the plan & determining and implementing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely with the sales/BD/Cx Marketing teams to align sales and marketing strategies
- Building brand awareness and generating innovative ideas to promote the brand/product
- Creating content strategies based on the business objectives, category focus and audience segments through all channels (online/offline/social)
- Designing and coordinating promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
- Building a high performing marketing team and ensuring effective coordination with other teams
- Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
- Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
Key Qualifications:
- MBA / Engineering from Tier 1 B School / IIM / IIT
- 10+ Years of experience in Consumer Marketing/growth stage Startups (Series C/D+)
- Must have spent a minimum of 1 year as a CMO/ Vice President Marketing / Director Marketing position in a consumer tech start up
