Head - Marketing - Ayurveda Business - FMCG (12-15 yrs)

Position: Head-Marketing (Contemporary Ayurveda Business)

Role:

- To head, synergise and provide the 'marketing platform and framework' to the non-prescription Contemporary Ayurveda business of the Company

- The role will be responsible to expand the Company's umbrella brand anchoring a wide, contemporary Ayurveda offerings across problem solutions, nutrition, beauty & wellness to deliver a threshold business size

- Develop, establish and manage the marketing infrastructure and champion setting up the entire marketing processes, templates and talent across the key deliverables of the marketing function (Brand Building, Portfolio Growth, NPDs, Value Chain Activations, Communication, Media, etc)

- Develop and implement Marketing initiatives thru dedicated team in line with agreed short term business/brands objectives and secure alignments from relevant stake-holders for the medium term strategic direction of the Contemporary Ayurveda vertical

- Formulating an agile, responsive marketing 'Ways of Working' to contemporize Ayurveda product offerings as a lifestyle adoption thru creating a psychographic consumer segmentation which delivers distinct competitive advantage, favorable revenue generation trends & reduces business risks

- Attracting, retaining and mentoring the right talent pool so as to build a sustainable, fast growing Contemporary Ayurveda vertical

- Manage and facilitate an environment of 'collaboration, learning & execution excellence' with both internal stakeholders (in-house business verticals, line & cross functions, senior management, etc) and external stakeholders (agencies, consulting partners, associations, authorities, consumers, customers, vendors, etc)

Requirements:

- MBA (Full Time) with specialization in Marketing (batch not later than 2006)

- Minimum 12-15 yrs Experience in FMCG / Market Place E Com or Consumer Brands Marketing companies with atleast 5 Years of Category Head experience.

- Experience in NPD, new brand launches, brand building role/tenure, communication development and media understanding is a must

- Talent with sales stint will be preferred

- Working in South India with knowledge of more than 1 South Indian Language will be preferred

- Expert knowledge and extensive exposure to Brand Management, Architecture, New Product Networks, Consumer Insight Mining, Consumer Research Methodologies, Tools and Models, Communication Development and Principles, Media Metrics, etc.

- Working knowledge of trade channel operations (Retailers, Stockists, MT), Commercial and Financial Skills (Tax Structure, Brand P&L, Marketing ROI, etc) and Logistics Management

- Self motivated, independent, self starter and ability to translate the business vision into crisp, specific marketing objectives.

- Excellent communication skills

- Sharp analytical skills, ability to de-clutter & simplify data abundance and generate action points, competency to secure collaborative buy-ins from all stakeholders, etc
