Head - Marketing & Admissions - Public Policy (4-5 yrs)

Arthan's partner organisation is a Delhi-based think tank that advocates social change through public policy. After pioneering educational and outreach programs on a liberal approach to public policy for a diverse set of audience, in its 21st year of translating policy into practice, they propose to launch a full-time, 12-18 months academic program in public policy in August 2019 as an independent School of Public Policy. The students who successfully complete this program shall be placed at think tanks, government departments, private corporations and research organizations.

Overview of the role and responsibility: To lead marketing, outreach function and drive student enrollments to launch and establish the brand of the School of Public Policy

H. Specific responsibilities - 

1. Launch the School of Public Policy brand:

a. Conceptualize the overall brand development and outreach strategy and plan to ensure that the School receives adequate public and media attention, and attract the right quality and number of students in the very first year

b. Lead the successful execution of the brand ad enrollment plan by building a team, and working with external partners and management of the School

c. Create and nurture new alliances with media, channel partners with direct access to prospective students, other colleges, promotional platforms or events and so on

d. Redefine and strengthen the digital marketing channels, systems to optimize lead generation, nurturing and conversions

e. Position the School as a flag-bearer of a new approach to training and education in policy design, analysis and implementation by strategic use of PR across online, print and digital mediums

f. Anchor interactions with students, execution of innovative workshops and seminars in collaboration with faculty, founders and academic partners.

2. Admissions

a. Lead the creation of a top-quality Founding Class for the School as per targets - manage lead generation, nurturing and conversion efforts

b. Design the selection criteria and execute the admissions process in an exemplary manner with a positive rub off on the brand

3. Others:

a. Recruit, develop, train and inspire team members to create a cohesive and high impact team

b. Facilitate the participation of Founding Team members, international academic partners, external experts on important decisions. Be the point of contact for sharing updates and new ideas with all such stakeholders

c. Contract and maintain direct oversight on external vendors, partners for development and production of marketing collaterals like brochures, ads, prospectus, presentations, website, online ads and so on

d. Stay abreast of new developments in the sector to enhance effectiveness of outreach and admissions effort
