Head - Market Strategy - Wholesale Voice - Telecom (15-20 yrs)

Looking for a successful and dynamic Market Strategy Head who will cover big OTTs, CPaaS, MNOs, RSPs & Aggregator/Carriers for Wholesale Voice. Developing the company's long-range sales strategy and forecasting sales volumes for the entire organization, building customer and partner relationships, and territory planning and segmentation. Identify sales opportunities and conduct feasibility checks to ensure maximum conversion of these opportunities to generate revenue as per sales strategy/ targets. Positioning and promoting the partner value proposition, leading sales/account managers in the development and expansion of opportunities, and reinforcing existing relationships. Responsible for annual revenue quota booking with significant growth in subsequent years with an emphasis on the development of client relationships and customer delivery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities -

1. Analyze business potential, conceptualize & execute strategies to drive sales, enhance revenue and achieve assigned AOP numbers.

2. Evaluate past performance, identify market potential and market share growth potential.

3. Drive annual sales plans for Voice, SMS & Signaling portfolio by extensive farming and hunting new accounts.

4. Develop Key Account Plan to drive strategic ideas to improve wallet share and higher product penetration

5. Work with Enterprise and Wholesale Data Sales team to develop bundled solutions.

6. Experience in negotiating roaming agreements national and/or international, as well as mobile termination terms, conducive to sustainable new entry.

7. Seasoned to handle/drive Cross Functional Teams to ensure fulfilment of common goals & objectives.

8. Integral part of CFT(Cross Functional Team) engagements infused for remittance of old receivables.

9. Represent company's interest in several telecom Industry forums, associations & conferences in the region.

Minimum Qualifications

1. MBA in Sales or Marketing with total 12+ years of experience in wholesale voice.

2. MUST have 10+ years experience in Telecom industry and 8+ years in wholesale Voice, SMS, Data Industry in African/Europe region, experience of working with multi-cultural people.

3. Should understand the business dynamics, trends, systems & process intricacies regarding wholesale Pricing, routing and product features

4. Strong analytic skills and experience with metrics driven decision making.

5. Should have a good understanding of the regulations and legal nuances of the business globally.

6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

7. Open for feedback and enjoys working in a fast paced, constantly iterating environment.

8. Collaborative and consensus driven approach; strong team player.

9. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver.

10. Requires some travel.
