Head - Manufacturing - Pesticides (15-20 yrs)

1. Responsible for setting goals and providing & monitoring the required resources, in the area of pesticides technical manufacturing at all locations, through monthly reviews and site visits, so as to achieve annual budget targets in terms of production volumes, revenue-spend, capex-spend and improvement/forward-looking activities

2. Responsible for ensuring plant teams to produce/maintain accepted product quality in line with desired specs and for inspiring the plants team to maintain high standards in the areas of manufacturing efficiencies, safety & environment, cost efficiencies, etc. through setting benchmark targets, providing the necessary resources and monitoring the same periodically.

3. Responsible for promoting the SBUs drive to achieve high standards in the areas of quality, efficiency, cost, excellence, safety, environment, etc. through driving TQM/TPM, Business Excellence & ensuring implementation of ISO standards, PSMS etc. at factory locations.

4. Responsible for obtaining necessary & timely manufacturing approvals from through liaison with relevant and appropriate authorities.

5. Responsible for obtaining capex approvals and ensuring their implementation through monthly review meetings at the three locations, so as to meet strategic goals and continuity of manufacturing activity.

6. Driving R&D and process improvements for manufacturing plants and to monitor and review for efficient purchase mechanisms.

7. Formulate CSR activities plan for all factory locations and ensure their implementation, thru periodic reviews, so as to achieve the tag of being a responsible corporate citizen.

8. Being a member of the SBU level leadership, responsible for developing vision & setting goals for business growth through strategic planning & its implementation, through quarterly/half-yearly/yearly review meetings and for all strategic growth plans, responsible for obtaining clearances at all levels,

9. Responsible for developing policies suitable for learning & development of employees in manufacturing and their growth & succession planning, through inputs from HR.
