Head - Manufacturing - OEM/Automotive

Purpose of the Role : The ideal candidate for this role is experienced, coming from the Tier 1 and/or OEM automotive manufacturing sector, and will lead the manufacturing activities.

Experience : 20 - 28 Years

Industry : Automotive

Education : B.E. / B. Tech

Key Responsibilities :

Meeting Production Target :

- Cascading down the business plan down the team.

- Ensuring production is achieved as per target.

- Ensuring manufacturing as per plant w.r.t first time right.

- Cascading Production Engineering at shop floor - Increasing operational efficiency and aligning explain as per business requirement

Budgeting & Forecasting :

- Monitoring yearly budget and allocate resource as per the plan.

- Resource allocation as per the budgetary plan.

Cost Reduction :

- Key role in the reduction of : - Operational Cost

- Direct & Indirect consumables

- OH and Admin cost

Achieving Manufacturing plan :

- To ensure delivery of manufacturing product as per plan.

- To ensure the mfg operation at zero tolerance on rejection and rework.

Talent Management :

- Ensuring to hire talent as per business requirement

- Enhance employee capability by identifying training against key positions

- Motivating talent through proper reward & recognition

- Ensuring retention / channelizing the growth of Hypo's

- Systems & Processes implementation as per business plan :

- PLM & SAP Implementation

- Coordination in new product development and product ionization - Product ionization

- Good Experience in Heavy Commercial Vehicle is a must.

- Production, Maintenance, PPC, SCM. Matrix reporting of P&A, PE, MQA
