Head - Manufacturing - Distribution Transformer (10-20 yrs)
Our client is a part of a large group in Oman.
- The group comprises of 60 companies. It is amongst the leading players in the marketing of electrical power distribution and transmission products, lighting solutions and products, lighting control systems and services etc.
- The main activities of the Group encompasses design, engineering and marketing of electrical and mechanical engineering and bulk distributed products and undertaking lighting and lighting control projects on a turnkey basis.
Job Description :
- For the group's Distribution Transformers Manufacturing Unit at Muscat, we are looking for a Head of Manufacturing - Transformers.
Job Requirements :
- The candidate should be an Electrical Engineering Graduate from a reputed institute having worked with good multinational/Indian companies manufacturing Distribution Transformers (Oil Filled & Cast Resin).
- The candidate must have managed operations of a Transformer Manufacturing unit with an installed capacity of 2000 MVA p.a. (minimum) for a period of 5 years. Experience in GCC countries would be an added advantage.
- The candidate should be well versed with the latest Transformer manufacturing processes & implementation of LEAN Systems (which is a must).

Education :
- UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication and MBA
- Age 35-40 years
- 10 to 20 years - experience in Plant operations of Transformer manufacturing Company
- Experience in scaling up operations
- Worked for good Indian/MNC companies
