Head/Manager - Finance - CA

The Company :

A reputed retail sales and service organisation HQ in South India

Purpose of the Role :

Primary responsibility is around ensuring that a business is operating effectively and efficiently by managing the finance, accounting, internal controls and compliance.

Expectations from the role (including but not limited to)

- Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team

- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting and MIS

- Controller ship activities like cash management functions and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, payroll and bank reconciliation functions.

- Internal process and controls with respect to finance, accounts and other related areas

- Ensure compliance with regards to Taxation / GST and other statutory compliance.

- Corporate customers credit assessment / credit management

The Person for the role :

- CA with about 6-10 years experience in a senior finance role with at least 4 to 5 years handling the controller ship function in a distribution / retail chain of stores handling multiple stores/ manufacturing industry

- Exposure to working in SAP / ERP environment is advantageous.

- Experience in handling statutory compliance / Legal & Department Notice / Officers.

- Day to day Banking Mgmt

- Strong finance, accounting, taxation and compliance fundamentals. Experience in handling sales side, purchase side and general accounts of multi location entities like stores or branch offices will be a great plus.

- Experience in process control and improvements in line with organisational goals

- Team management and development experience.

- Excellent Stakeholder Management and problem solving skills.

- Knowledge of tamil is a must.

CTC : INR 15 Lakhs per annum (negotiable)
