Head - Logistics & Warehouse - FMCG

Purpose : To manage logistics and oversee warehouse operations pan India and international

Key Performance Indicators :

1. Logistics Cost Savings

2. Warehouse Cost Savings

3. Last Mile Delivery / On-time Delivery

Key Responsibilities :

Logistics :

1. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with logistics partners in partnership with fulfillment centers, customer service and

retail teams to improve customer experience, costs and processes

2. Partner with internal / external stakeholders to improve cost, speed and reliability of delivery

3. Able to address operational issues affecting functional area

4. Execute performance metrics

5. Align Logistics objectives with organizational objectives

Warehouse Operations :

1. Handling entire Warehousing operations - commercials, product & operations while managing process improvements

2. Optimizing Costs and put in place WMS process and framework

3. Design innovative strategies to improve customer experience and fulfilment operations

4. Improving delivery NPS, Cost per order, returns, damages and RTO management and onboarding new courier partners

5. Ensure coordinated supply chain functioning to maximize operations and delivery

People Management :

- Create a supportive and collaborative environment in which team members are coached, trained and provided with opportunities through development

Experience & Qualification :

Mandatory :

1. MBA in Logistics / Operations from Tier 1 Institute

2. Minimum 9 years in managing logistics and warehouse operations in a B2C / D2C / FMCG sector across first mile and last mile

3. Experience of setting up centralized WH, WMS and logistics operations

4. Proven experience in scaling fulfillment in an ecommerce space

5. Strong experience in people and functional leadership

6. Prior experience of working in a scaling up environment would be an asset

7. Excellent communication skills and with strong problem solving and analytical skills
