Key responsibilities include :
- Monitor daily operations of logistics team and ensure the procurement, shipping and warehouse operations are most efficient & just in time delivery at a minimum cost.
- There will be targets for delivery SLAs and cost - which will determine variable pay-out.
- Set up the logistics process and procedures from scratch with use of technology.
- Understanding of basic tech solutions (ideally open-source solutions) to be installed, and managed.
- Negotiate with 3PL on pricing
- Oversee the warehousing and distribution operations.
- Oversee the inbound and outbound shipment and ensure on time delivery.
- Key requirements : Degree in supply chain, logistics or relevant discipline, conversant in Hindi and English, previous experience in ecommerce (global) will be preferable.
