Client Details :
- The client is one of the global leaders in flexible packaging manufacturing with presence in India for over many decades now. Worldwide, they are into food packaging and paper products business. In India, they are majorly into food packaging, but are looking forward to expand their product portfolio. Their aggressive growth plan in the Indian subcontinent requires them to invest heavily in their Supply Chain function. Currently, they are looking for a Logistics Head for South Asian operations, based out of Delhi/NCR.
Description
The candidate will report to the global Supply Chain Director and will be responsible for:
- Handle E2E logistics for India operations
- Ensuring cost efficiency and quality standards through the strategic planning
- Good negotiation skills to handle existing 3PL and develop new ones
- Identifying gaps and bottlenecks & rectifying them in warehouse management
- Driving efficiency through overall system enhancement and improvement
- Supporting and implementing ERP systems for warehousing and logistics
Profile :
The ideal candidate must be an engineer (chemical engineer preferred) and would come with more than 12 years' experience. You should have prior experience in handling PAN India logistic activities. The person must have strong commercial and contractual awareness with good negotiation skills suitable for chemical industry.
