Head - Logistics - Chemicals/Petrochemicals

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

- Planning, Budgeting, and Management of Transportation & Logistics involved in the movement of bulk cargos

- Management of Vendors involved in the Transportation & Logistics of bulk cargos.

- Identify Analyze logistical problems and implement solutions for cost-effective operations.

- Ensure Systems and Process are in place to monitor cargo movement on a real-time basis.

- Ensure Safety norms, practices are followed during transportation of hazardous cargo.

- Champion best practices, Standard Operating Procedures in Transportation, Logistics & Supply Chain Management

- Ensure Systems and Process are in place to monitor cargo movement on a real-time basis.

- Experienced in managing own fleet in terms of Drivers, maintenance and permits. Should be well versed with statutory approval required and adherence to the same.

Other Requirements :

Specific Knowledge :

- Experience in the transportation of hazardous goods is an added advantage.
