Client Details

Our client is a market leader in building material in India with a well-established brand name. The company has had multiple projects rewarded for state of the art infrastructure and continues to lead the same by holding 30% market share in India and also expanding their reach to the middle east. The current role required is for the Head of Logistics which will be based out of the Delhi Head office

Description

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the logistics function including distribution, transportation, 3PL management and vendor development

- Implementing new strategies for the entire network with focus on route and cost optimisation, quality adherence, timely delivery of the goods and excellent customer services

- Managing a team of professionals along with the responsibility for their growth and development in the organisation

- Working closely with different functional heads to ensure the smooth flow of operations

Profile

You will have

- A minimum of 15 years experience post master's degree in managing end to end supply chain distribution function

- Expertise in distribution, transportation, 3PL and vendor management

- Prior experience in building material and construction industry will be preferred

- Excellent negotiation skills

- Good communication and the ability to liaise with senior management
