The company is a leading listed NBFC. Currently they have two business verticals :

Wholesale Lending : Majorly catering to Real Estate Project finance

SME / Retail lending : Majorly catering to secured loans - Equipment finance and Loan Against property, The ticket sizes ranges from Rs 20 Lacs to Rs 100 Lacs

- In addition, the company has a license for Housing finance and the company plans to launch Home Loan product soon.

- The company is listed in BSE/NSE. Currently they have about 500 employees and the loan book of around Rs 1200 crores.

Role : Head - Litigation

Location : Mumbai

Brief Job Description :

The responsibility will include managing legal Litigation :

- Manage and advice on pan India litigation matters

- Tracking of cases in court, with Law firms

- Track legal fees and manage budgets.

- Prepare documents for submission to court, i.e. applications, affidavits, written submissions, etc.

- Liaise with law firms, external counsel on preparation of court documents and hearings.

- Drafting Agreements, Deeds, Power of Attorney, Indemnity Bonds, Plaints, Petitions and all kinds of Notices and other Legal Documents.

- To initiate Arbitration proceedings & Procuring Awards in all matters recommended.

Important Requirement :

- The candidate must be from a Banking / NBFC / Lending background

- Must have substantial experience in Litigation
