Head - Legal - IT - LLB/LLM (15-24 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Well versed and adapt at drafting, vetting and negotiating legal documents for IT Software Services Company
2. Should have experience in draft and discussion agreement with international partners lawyers in line with the international laws.
3. To prepare and scrutinize various legal documents such as power of attorney, letter of undertaking, transfer deed, etc. including stamp duty and registration thereof.
4. Drafting, vetting and negotiating documents related to fund raising - both from private equity players or banks (bank and Institutional borrowings, loan documentation, creation of charges etc.)
5. Preparing case briefs, representing the company in courts, in consultation with external legal firms, lawyers both national and international.
6. Handling submission of application for Registration of Copyrights/Patents, Merger and Acquisition.
7. To ensure that the legal requirements related to running the business and managing operations are properly adhered to within the framework of the governing law in various locations and geographies.
8. To monitor various business and departmental processes for their compliance; to offer advice whenever required to enable strict compliance towards set policies, procedures and practices.
Requirements :
Desired Candidate Profile :
A. Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in business environment.
B. Excellent knowledge and understanding of Commercial law, Arbitration proceedings, Criminal law, corporate law and procedures.
C. Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
D. High degree of professional ethics and integrity
E. Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
F. Outstanding communication skills with excellent written and spoken English.
G. A Degree in law from any of the top 20 Law colleges.
H. Candidate should have an LLB/LLM and 15+ years of PQE.
I. Ability to work in a fast paced, high growth and high demand environment.
J. Ability to handle multiple senior stakeholders
K. Experience of handling issues across multiple jurisdictions both national and international.
