Head - Legal - FMCG (18-25 yrs)

Role: HEAD LEGAL

Must be having prior experience of heading Legal Dept Ops under Food & Beverage Companies

Experience: 18+ years of experience in FMCG company only (Food Industry preferable)

Location: Kolhapur (CANDIDATE NEEDS TO FUNCTION OUT OF THE KOLHAPUR OFFICE. ONLY CANDIDATES WHO CAN RELOCATE TO KOLHPUR NEED APPLY. CANDIDATES WHO, CANNOT RELOCATE TO KOLHAPUR - KINDLY DO NOT APPLY.)

CTC: Commensurate to experience - (40-50 lacs)

Requisition & Responsibilities:

- Candidate having exposure from FMCG Companies only, with a larger experience with F&B companies

- Must have handled Legal Dept and related activities at Large Scale.

- Should have exposure of handling Legal Court Matters, Dealing with External Panel of Advocates.

- To carryout internal analytics of existing processes to identify the gaps in each & every department to develop the strong & robust legal system- processes. To devise a guideline and implement SOP for Legal Dept Ops. Implement and manage Legal aspects towards Brands, Trade Marks, IP-Intellectual Property.

- Should have handled Statutory /Regulatory compliance.

- To implement centralized Legal Processes for scrutiny of each & every document, agreements, legal paper work etc. before execution.

- Arrange to conduct the audit from Legal team for verification of all current documents, agreements, formats, registrations, certification etc. and prepare the POA- Plan of action for improving these areas. All the legal matter related documents going to management desk for signing need to be checked & authorized by legal dept.

- To build strong Legal systems for regulatory compliance

- To work on Risk Management towards Assets, Machinery, Individual plant level, contractors etc.

- To oversee court matters, running cases present status and prepare the control document.

- Devise weekly, monthly MIS format for sharing the updates with the management and BOD and maintain proper reporting system along with records & file keeping mechanism SOP in place.

- To lead and take complete control of Statutory & Legal Compliance, Land Matters, Food Safety Norms, Legal Meteorology, CMU Disputes, Field related party, vendor claims related matter redressal etc.

- Be a custodian for all Govt Dept related matters redressal such as with Factories Act, Labour Laws, Labour Commissioner offices, Mathadi, Suraksha Rakshak Mandal

Exposure to having handled legal matters pertaining to floating of IPO will be an added advantage
