1. Position Summary
The candidate shall be responsible for providing proactive, in-depth, legal and Secretarial business-focused advice to the CORPORATE OFFICE / FAMILY AND business, as well as implementing initiatives and processes in order to set standards and reinforce a culture of integrity, quality, ethical behavior and responsibility.
Additionally, he will be responsible with analyzing and identifying the legal and secretarial risks and implications to the SHAREHOLDERS / FAMILY / business's transactions, keeping the CORPORATE AND senior management in of the business informed of developments in laws and regulations that potentially affect the SHAREHOLDERS / FAMILY AND business.
2. Areas of Responsibility
Key Result Areas
- To look after all legal affairs of the family Office & matters related to group companies, associate companies and trusts.
- Good knowledge of Company laws, managing all corporate law compliances, handle corporate governance issues.
- Proficiency in legal strategy planning, management reporting, advising Board Members/Chief Executives & share-holders on all matters involving legal implications.
- Managing activities related to corporate drafting, merger & acquisitions, legal/labour compliances, secretarial matters, litigation and commercial drafting.
- Extensive experience in drafting, vetting, negotiating and executing diverse range of Agreements & Contracts.
- Demonstrates proficiency in drafting and reviewing all legal documents.
- Liaising with various government agencies & regulatory authorities.
- Handling Litigation and providing corporate advisory to the FAMILY AND business.
3. Mandatory Requirement
- Someone who has the experience of working directly with the Promoters.
- Someone who has handled a group of companies and not just a single entity.
- (Preferred but not Mandatory) Recently Retired Legal Head
