Head - Legal - Diversified Business House (15-20 yrs)
Looking for a Head of Legal for a leading diversified business house.
The typical responsibilities for this person would include:
- Providing legal opinion and taking actions on various issues to protect the interest of the organization
- To handle all court cases filed by or against the company through internal team and support from external counsel
- To draft and review legal contracts and agreements involving the organization & providing legal opinion on legal content of contracts before formalization to ensure their legal validity
- To handle domestic & international arbitrations and other legal matters
- To ensure compliance with provisions of various laws governing and impacting the organization
- Coordinate with the attorney / advocates to initiate and defend all the legal cases filled by /against the company
- Liaisoning with local administrative and Government Authorities in connection of any legal issues
Essential Skill Sets:
- Candidate with rich & diverse experience of 15 - 20 years in reputed organizations will have an edge
- Experience of handling corporate laws, litigation including (civil, criminal), Domestic & International Arbitration, claim & settlements, contract negotiation etc.
- Should be proficient in drafting all kinds of Deeds, Notices, Agreements and Plaints/ law suits on behalf of the Company in the courts of law through solicitors
- Should be able to research and provide views on the legal matters
Educational Qualifications:
- Post Graduate / Graduate in Law - BL / LLB with 15 - 20 years of Industry experience
