Head - Legal - Corporate Segment - BFS (20-29 yrs)

Job Description :


Transformational :

- Lead and manage all processes initiated by the SEFL against clients and vice-versa

- Liaise with Zonal Business heads on a regular basis to ensure coverage and compliances of all existing and potential legal issues which could impact efficient operations

- Take decisions on settlement, withdrawal etc. of cases post evaluation of commercial aspects on a case to case basis

Regulatory :

- Contract Management and Property o All forms of contract management be it Property or other matters

- Arbitration o Cases > 25 Cr exposure o Large Corporates

- NCLT & Strategic Cases o Too complex - External Counsel o Normal routine / High Volume - In house legal

Transactional / Administrative :

- Facilitating / guiding the business team that would ensure compliance with all regulatory / legal requirements.

- Setting the key result area of the regulatory / legal team and monitoring their performance against set parameters

Management of records :

- Scrutiny of the proposals / due diligence of the properties and drafting of suitable legal documents to ensure proficiency in records management.

- Facilitating the business development team by partnering through structuring / drafting the various proposals and participating through negotiations keeping in mind the risk management.

- Leading the proposals of the business team through excellent homework and documentation in the key credit committee meetings and in turn ensure achievement of business objective.

- The challenge of the role will be besides preempting risk / documentation how the incumbent can facilitate the business in getting their proposals approved and subsequently guide the operation team during all aspects of operations / collections and ensure zero NPA.
