Job Responsibilities:

- Seeking a Highly Qualified and professional Legal & Compliance Expert for a US MNC

As Head of Legal, Compliance & Public Affairs, you will lead implementation of our legal & Compliance strategy , which includes:

- Creating a framework across to ensure that all legal & Compliance needs are met in terms of risks and opportunities

- Creating open and transparent communications with senior management at local, regional and global senior management to create an atmosphere of trust and respect

- Setting the benchmark for expected standards of professionalism, integrity and independence in the legal & Compliance function

- Anticipating issues and analytically and strategically providing solutions

- Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of material legal risks and creating appropriate mitigation plans

- Leading legal & Compliance aspects of internal and external regulatory requirements

- Supporting the Indian data protection team to continually improve data protection compliance and prepare for developments in technology and AI

- Ensuring that IT and procurement, people affairs are supported with legal advice and guidance with their strategic changes

- Working with HR on senior management employment matters

Stakeholders :

- You will lead the legal & Compliance function

- You will closely with Seniors based in UAE and other Global Offices

Desired Skill sets :

- Law degree with 10-15+ years of experience in Legal

- Exposure to IRDAI compliance preferred

- Awareness/knowledge of data protection laws and regulations

- Oral/written proficiency in English

- Strong oral/written communication skills

- Excellent Contract drafting and Vetting Skills
