Main Responsibilities : - Provide active business partnering and day to day support on a wide range of business initiatives and matters to the various business and functional teams. - Identify, assess, manage and prevent legal risks associated with the changing business and regulatory environment. - Support and drive a variety of strategic projects and collaborations - Support and give advice on acquisitions, divestitures, licensing and other transactions. - Support and give advice on new business initiatives, reorganizations and business model changes. - Communicate, implement, influence, drive and maintain good corporate governance practices, including policies and processes. Updating relevant company policies and ensuring compliance is key. - Provide support for litigation, dispute management and employee related issues. - Assess legal and compliance risks and work with the management - Oversee company secretarial and compliance activities and conduct training initiatives including FCPA, compliance, careful communications and others as needed to meet business requirements. - Provide guidance on and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations applicable to the organization in India. - Updating relevant company policies and ensuring compliance (including supporting any relevant training as mentioned above). - Maintain a network of local external legal advisors.
