Our client is industrial powerhouse with a dominant presence in steel, power, mining and infrastructure, It is a leading Indian conglomerate that aims to strengthen the future of the nation and works towards building a better world.

Our client is currently hiring a Head of Learning & Organizational development for Angul location. L&D Head will be responsible for developing and implementing an organization wide Learning & Development strategy that facilitates and drives individual development and capability building in line with institutional requirements.

Reports to CHRO

Main Responsibilities for the Head of Learning & Development.

- Carry-out training need analysis through Knowledge & Skill mapping of employees (Partner closely with Engineering /Business/Functional teams to- assess and evaluate learning needs).

- As a Learning partner oversee the development of training curriculum; review training outlines and determine appropriate instructional methods and formats for in-house and vendor-led training.

- Anchor & Facilitate; New hire on boarding learning solution, mandatory learning programs within organization , facilitate frontline to mid management development programs and foundational Business Acumen Program.

- Content cu-ration & delivery; Based on assessed need, analyse, design, develop, implement & evaluate the learning programs (Design workshops, courses and assessments in accordance with the skill gap determined, like first time manager program, concepts for goal setting, problem solving, negotiation skills, conflict resolution etc. , Key process training for managerial development).

- Development and deployment of blended learning solutions across business verticals from frontline /Individual contributors up to Sr. Management level.

- Create and own SOPs, learning strategies and developmental programs directed towards enhancing our culture of result orientation, innovation etc.

- Manage L&D Budget effectively.

Key Requirements :

- Should have strong experience in a leadership role within Learning & Development.

- Education: MBA in HR full-time from a reputed institution.

- Experience of minimum 15 years

- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

- Ability to build relationships with & influence stakeholders.

- Should have exposure of managing Learning & Development sub department.
