Head - Learning & Development - Logistics Firm - IIM/XLRI/TISS/SCMHRD (12-15 yrs)

This is a very interesting role for Learning and Development lead with a leading Logistics company (Pan India) based in Mumbai.

This role will oversee all the Learning and Development activities including building the L&D roadmap, creating career plans, Training Delivery, and Talent Management. A large part of this role will be in leading change management and taking the organization to its next level by supporting it in terms of upskilling. This is a leadership role and needs a seasoned professional who has led L&D for an MNC with atleast 10000 employees.

Responsibilities:

- Build the Training road map along with career and success planning.

- Manage the design, delivery and continuous improvement of training programs as well as ongoing learning opportunities across the organization.

- Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery of corporate training programs and strategies.

- Co-ordinate with the different departments to understand the need of training and get the same organized (in-house or from outsourced resources.)

- Monitor and measure effectiveness of all training programs.

- Prepare the Annual Training budget and ensure compliance.

- Develop and implement the action plan for achieving a higher ranking in the Great Place To Work (GPTW) survey.

-Build and manage a large L&D team pan India

Must have skills:

- You must be an MBA -HR from a good B-School with minimum 12 years of experience in Learning and Development.

- Proficient in training methodologies, curriculum development and soft skills (communication skills, critical thinking, time management, team building, etc.)

- Ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs utilizing skills of self and outsourced Training bodies.

- Proven experience of managing large L&D teams for over 10K employees

- Maintain high energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style

- Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities

- Strong attention to detail/level of quality, communication (written and verbal).

- Strong in organizing, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required.

- Please note this role requires to travel 40% of your time to Tier 2/3/4 cities to understand the needs of the organization.
