Head HR (HR Leader) for a Leading MNC based at Hyderabad ( Looking for Hyderabad based candidates only)

The HR Leader acts as a strategic partner to the line management of the site or sites supported. He/ she works to embed the corporate HR strategy into the talent strategy for the sites, while aligning HR processes and initiatives to the business/functional strategy and driving talent outcomes needed to drive the accomplishment of short-term and longterm business objectives for the site. The HR Leader serves as a full member of the Site Leadership Team and supervises a team of HR professionals at the site.

The position coordinates with multiple, corporate/functional HRBPs. The organization supported has significant size and/or complexity and business-level business impact. The number of sites/states, size of the facilities, complexity of labor relations and related factors will determine the job level.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Partner

- Work closely with appropriate HRBP(s) to align people strategy for the site(s) supported with function/business

- Understand and contribute to strategy development of the site(s) supported

- Understand the talent needs of the site(s), including support of leadership development/succession planning process

- Identify/address talent gaps before they impact business

- Adjust HR strategies to respond to changing needs

- Maintain/monitor and act on critical HR metrics

- Assess/track and address employee attitudes/behaviors

- Design/adapt HR programs to fit operating strategy

- Keep line updated on HR initiatives

- Counsel managers and employees on HR policies and procedures Employee Mediator

- Manage conflict between employees and managers, and between line leadership

- Resolve political issues in the execution of business plans

- Quickly respond to line manager and employee questions or complaints

- Respond to manager and employee needs

- Supervise, coach and develop a team of HR professionals
