- Generate new business for the Company leading to increase in Revenue. - Build and maintain long term relationships with prospects and clients. - Increase revenue by achieving strategic growth plans of the Organisation - Increase market share - Improve profitability through strategic planning and positioning in the relevant markets. - Negotiate contracts / rates while keeping customer ROI and the Company's rate integrity intact. - Prepare and manage the overall business development budget. - Analyse market trends and prepare overall Business Development Strategy through indepth research - Arrange for partnerships to increase lead generation towards market growth - Develop retention strategies and implement the same - Identify and pursue profitable business opportunities through market surveys and mapping as per targeted plans as well as through lead generation. - Evolve market segmentation and penetration strategies and achieve product wise targets. - Manage Business development activities through detailed planning and preparing, implementing and closing. - Monitor competitor activities and adopt measures to address them. - Attend conferences, seminars and acquire certifications to maintain proficiency. - Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world. - Have updated Market knowledge. - Build and manage team as required. Required Experience: - 8 - 10 years in IT-Software or services industry within sales, business development, key account management roles. - Experience selling to CTO's, CIO's, CFO's and Department Heads of large enterprise organizations - B.tech or MBA in Marketing, Sales or Information Technology preferred - Demonstrated experience in handling P&L - Shows passion for performance of set objectives and exceeds expectations. - Generates new ideas and creative solutions. - Strategic problem solver and hands on approach
