Head Lead- Litigation & Non- Litigation- Real Estate

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal expertise and guidance on real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, property management, and development projects.

- Draft, review, and negotiate various real estate-related agreements, such as purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, easements, and other legal documents.

- Conduct due diligence on real estate transactions, including title and survey review, environmental assessments, and zoning and land use analysis.

- Manage and resolve real estate-related disputes and litigation, including contract disputes, property disputes, and regulatory matters.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executives, management, and cross-functional teams, to ensure compliance with legal requirements and mitigate risks associated with real estate transactions.

- Stay updated on industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes related to real estate and provide proactive advice to the organization.

- Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.

- Develop and deliver training programs on real estate legal matters to educate internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- LLB/LLM degree from an accredited law school and a valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a focus on real estate law, including experience with commercial real estate transactions, leasing, property management, and development.

- Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.

- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide practical legal advice to achieve business objectives.

- Knowledge of environmental, zoning, and land use regulations is a plus.

- Familiarity with international real estate transactions and relevant laws is a plus.
