Position Purpose The role will be to manage identification, development and implementation of Information Technology projects and services of CreAgro . Closely work with the CreAgro business / functional teams and users for providing in time solutions. Strategic Responsibilities : - Ensuring participation and contribution to the new IT strategic initiatives of CreAgro. Keep abreast with new developments in Information Technology in general and in new applications and technologies relevant for PII's R&D activity in particular - Partnering with the businesses to identify project enhancements and process improvement needs and help them define the same Programs and Projects: - Evaluate business needs and requirements with respect to various stages in the research and development in agro-chemical space - Lead IT deliveries i.e. design, development, customization, implementation and smooth running of all software solutions; required to facilitate and support the primary research & development and knowledge management processes as well as the support functions in an efficient and effective manner - Define project plans arrange approvals and monitor the control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems at CreAgro - Maintaining the highest level of data security as well as providing for systems and procedures to ensure business continuity - Providing IT hardware solutions to all users in Udaipur for running all necessary applications - Effectiveness and sustainability of electronic laboratory notebooks like Perkin Elmer E-notebooks, Registration, Inventory and LIMS systems - Effectively management of knowledge management tools such as Iolite, ChemCurator, Jchem, Literature Databases, etc. - Deliver business process initiatives on Microsoft SharePoint Online etc. - Prepare and present regular status updates as and when required
