Designation : Head - Lab Quality - Diagnostic Business

Location : Gurgaon

Scope : Pan India

Qualifications : MD in Pathology with experience in diagnostic business

Role and Responsibilities :

- Developing and implementing a Quality Assurance process for all aspects of the sample collection chain

- Ensuring high quality output from all lab partners across PAN India

- Audit for existing and Quality approval for new partners

- Maintains medical laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards

- Maintains quality results by participating in the quality assurance program

- Reviewing quality control and quality assurance programs

- Handling a team of lab quality professionals across the country

- Implements new programs, tests, methods, instrumentation, and procedures by investigating alternatives

- Training phlebotomist on quality and technical know how related to lab test

- Handling customers queries and escalations/complications related to quality.

- Resolves problems by consulting with pathologists, other laboratory managers, technical coordinators, laboratory directors, physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals; attending committee meetings

- Managing of all quality related customer issues

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Ensure timely report generations and error free test results

- Ensure regular update of processes and systems for ensuring best in class quality processes.

- Conduct Regular & surprise Quality Audits

- Coordination and regular connect with lab partners to ensure smooth operations

- Perform analytical tests in the laboratory as assigned by the Laboratory Manager and immediately report any problems with tests, equipment or results to the Laboratory Manager.

- Ensuring TATs are met and processes are followed as per laid down SOPs

Job Specification & Qualification :

- MBBS & MD Pathology is a mandatory requirement

- Experience - Minimum 7 - 10 years in similar field

- NABL lab Experience

- Experience with managing medical laboratories

- Strong Analytical Skills

- Management Proficiency

- Equipment Maintenance experience

- Quality Focus & Customer centric approach

- Ability to work with moderate supervision, strong attention to detail, good verbal and written skills, positive attitude, ability to work well with others.
