About the Job Role :

- The Job Role will be responsible to manage the existing landscape of Key Accounts of the Organization and chart out an active, engaging, result oriented Client Services model for new relationships of the Organization. The role shall be the Key Account Manager for all Strategic Accounts of the Organization and shall need to ensure an effective Service Delivery standard is maintained at all times in each relationship.

- This role shall work closely with peers in Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics Operations, Finance and Sales to channelize solutions and resolutions as part of a standardized Service Delivery framework which is Responsive, Sustainable, Clock-Work, Cost Effective, Customer and Partner aligned for all assigned accounts and ensure effective customer retention and growth strategies in conjunction with the business plan of the Organization.

Ideal Candidate :

- A proficient Service Delivery and Client Engagement Lead who has handled multiple high value relationships at a time where in the annual transaction value of each relationship is in excess of $1M+ in the HoReCa / Food Industry / SCM / FMCG / FMCD / Retail / Logistics sector(s) in India.

- Hands on experience in designing, implementing and ensuring the smooth operations of a resulted oriented Service Delivery model which enables the highest standards of Client Engagement and Client Retention for the Organization.

- Should have an effective understanding of the Supply Chain value stream and an effective negotiator and collaborators who has pooled resources and efforts sustainably from all components of the Supply Chain value stream whether its people, process, technology or partners to deliver a High Standard of Customer Excellence in all Key Accounts which they have managed

- Working knowledge of applications used in the Supply Chain value stream and adept at technology adoption for self, team and enabling customers adopt and adapt to technology enablement to facilitate an effective and efficient service excellence standard for customers and effective fulfilment of their requirements with minimal effort

- Is experienced at partnering with an executive team and has excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and presentation skills. Is well informed about the latest trends and is nimble in approach to ensure high quality customer experience in each interaction and service instance

- Holds a Post Graduate Degree in Marketing / Operations / Supply Chain / Customer Relationship Management. An added advantage if the incumbent specializes in Operations and/or Supply Chain Management

Key Job Responsibilities

- Manage to perfection the Key and Strategic Business Account Relationships for the organization

- Understanding customer needs, desires and what is important for them to succeed and Interface with all internal business and business enabling functions to relay client needs and augment solutions and/or resolutions in response for the client as a single point of contact on behalf of the Organization


- Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients, wherever they are, to effectively manage the business relationship, with an ultimate aim of becoming a trusted partner for clients.

- Conducts weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews. Implement and operate the Organization's Service Delivery model and Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards in each assigned account and relationship

- Prepare, implement, publish and track a simple and nimble Service Delivery model which is based on well researched standards of the Industry

- Ensure a well-documented, tailored and flexible Service Level Agreement standard for each relationship according to the commercial design of each relationship

- Proactively report progress/activities to/from clients and be the single point interface for the customer for all service level requirements encompassing all business areas Smart Budgeting and Negotiations

- Ability to prepare cost effective holistic budgets which can address ~90% of regular anticipated indicants which may occur in the business and usual scenario and incorporate it in the Service Delivery model budget each quarter

- Effective negotiator to be able to effect and secure the best cost-efficient outcomes when resolving business escalations and ensuring timely realization of receivables from each assigned account with minimal loss due to adjustments owing to service escalations

- Ability to negotiate with internal stakeholders and prioritize solution deployment in keeping with pre-determined budgets
