Head - JD Edwards Administration - Manufacturing/FMCG/Auto (12-16 yrs)

The incumbent should be Computer Engineer / Post Graduate in IT / MCA with JD Edwards Administration / CNC experience with a reputed Manufacturing / FMCG / Automobile Company. The candidate must have experience in JDE 9.2 .

The incumbent will be responsible for -:

1. Installation and Configuration

- Installing and configuring Deployment Server

- Installing and configuring Enterprise Server

- Installing and configuring Web Server

- Server Manager installation and configuration

- Server Manager Agent installations and configurations

2. Upgrade Activities

- Perform application release upgrade

-Perform tools release upgrade

- Promotion and testing of objects in upgraded ERP

3. User/Role Management

- Creation of user IDs

- Creation of test and production roles

4. Security Management

- Setup security for different roles i.e. test and production roles

- Configuring different types of securities such as application, action, row, column, etc.

5. Object Management Configuration

- Setup and define status flows for object promotion

- Configuring roles for status change

6. Package Management

- Build and deploy full packages

- Build and deploy update packages

- Backup objects to a different pathcode or as PAR files

7. Change Management

8. Web Client (Fat Client) Management

- Setup a web client/fat client which involves database and JDE setup on a windows server machine

- Package installation (deployment) on different web clients

9. Data Source Management and Object Configuration Mappings

10. Infrastructure Setups

11. Monitoring Activities

12. Maintenance Activities
