- This role is responsible for managing mission critical Banking Infrastructure & Operations and keep the lights on 24x7x365. Operations / Technologies include on-prem Data Centre & cloud Infrastructure including traditional virtualisation platforms, hyper converged infrastructure, LAN, Wi-Fi networks,WAN, SDN, SDWAN, Databases, Clustering, Call Centre Infrastructure, Backups, Storage etc. The role is part of CTO leadership team and therefore is expected to positively impact the overall delivery of information technology services as part of the technology team's mission for the bank. 1 Lead - Mentor - Motivate a team of in-house and out-sourced professionals who manage and support operations. Retaining talents, future skills requirements & skill development
2 Provide leadership for running 24-7 mission critical operations. Offer stable Infrastructure services -Measure & Improve Infrastructure uptimes and performance by way of Service Improvement Plans, Improvement of Service Management Processes or Technology Refresh. Establish metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements to continually improve the performance of IT Operations.
3 Analyze technology trends and develop infrastructure strategy, architecture, and delivery processes designed for agility and cost effectiveness. Standardisation, provide infrastructure services vision, enable innovation and leverage latest Technologies & trends that can create business value consistent with bank's vision & customer benefits.
4 Participate / contribute / drive IT strategic planning, project planning and budget planning efforts.
5 Develop RFPs/RFIs, oversee product evaluations, play decision making role in product and service selections, key commercial terms, scope of engagement and ensure that pricing, terms and conditions for suppliers contract meet Bank's requirements and IT standards while achieving optimal results for the Bank.
6 Support new Technology testing, Project & Design Team, involve during deployment and structured take-over into Operations.
7 Oversee Project Deliveries across Infra function. Drive Timely and within Budget Project Deliveries.
8 Establish and maintain strong, strategic partnerships with Vendors, Service Suppliers & Internal business stakeholders. Periodic reviews - Internal & External w.r.t. Performance, Metrices, KPA, KRA, SLA, TATs
9 Ensure comprehensive disaster recovery architecture is maintained and operations are in place to ensure compliance with required RPOs and RTOs during Business continuity events.
10 Clean Audits, support & meet Security - Audit & Compliance requirements. Reduce Operational Risks & Compliance issues.
11 Provide well-considered counsel to CTO, and other business service leaders on:
(a) Emerging infrastructure services and technologies having characteristics likely to provide benefit to the efficiency or capabilities of the Bank's infrastructure.
(b) Opportunities to apply new technologies or other solutions to challenges facing our operations, legal practices and/or business services (c) Changes or emerging risks in supplier or product status and capabilities, standards and protocols, or other industry, market, or technology factors that may influence or impact IT systems and processes.
1 Must have relevant experience in Infrastructure & Operations for atleast 20 years prerably in Banking &BFSI Industry. Extensive knowledge of data center operations, telecommunications, network engineering, and production operations support. Domain knowledge of specific technologies including but not limited to Microsoft Platform Services including Active Directory, Infrastructure applications, Cisco Voice and Networking, VMware, Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Citrix VDI, EMC and/or NetApp Enterprise-level SANs, Cisco Blade Server infrastructures, and multi-carrier WANs, Oracle Exadata, Sql & Oracle Database, ESB Middleware is mandatory.
- Experience in related IT disciplines such as data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, database administration and outsourced systems & outsourced operations. Excellent understanding of multi-disciplinary nature of IT solutions. Should also have relevant experience in driving large data center implementation & migration projects for IT Infrastructure.

9 Ability to see the "big picture" across such areas as private and public hosted infrastructure and services, identity management, security, opportunities, end user experience.
10 Functional understanding of project management principles and their application, ability to drive projects to deliver within time and budget constraint
