Head - IT Infrastructure - BFS

Looking to hire Head of IT Infrastructure covering Data Centre Operations, Network Operations, IT Procurement, IT Security Audit, General IT Operations with 14+ years of overall experience in a multinational, multi-location setup with extensive team management experience

Our client is one the leading financial services players in India with a strong hold on Banking, with established and successful businesses across various segments. The group subsidiaries include companies which are leaders in their respective spaces, with significant book size and market share. They are looking to grow their Housing Finance business and require a tenured Information Security Professional.

Description :

- Interact with internal senior leadership and external clients to represent the technology infrastructure domain.

- Technology Infrastructure Management (LAN, WAN, Contact Center, Telecom architecture, AWS/Cloud, enterprise computing), Capacity Planning, Projects Deployment, Planning and Implementation of new delivery centers.

- Oversee the infrastructure, planning and projects to ensure its effective management are typically undervalued to the detriment of the organization, enable enterprise automation, Reduce duplication of effort

- Ensure adherence to standards and interoperability while designing, solutioning, implementations or infrastructure augmentations.

- Detailed understanding on various contact center methodology, computing technology & enterprise data networking

- Participate in technical discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.

- Creating solutions architecture, algorithms, and designs for solutions that scale to the customer's enterprise/global requirements

- Analyse processing issues and data anomalies to identify solutions

- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all databases/services

- Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime

- Responsible for problem escalation to vendors or third party service providers as appropriate

- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within and outside the organization, including senior management and Good leadership skills.

Profile :

- 14+ years of experience managing DC/IT operations for a high tech organisations.

- You have managed a reasonably sized team in demanding environments (large scale enterprises, startups etc)

- Experience in setting up and running co-located data centers

- Exposure to dealing with DC/Telecom vendors

- Effectively coach & drive people, work along with them in the trenches and can deliver results rapidly

- Good understanding of DNS & Networking fundamentals, JunOS/IOS and technologies such as BGP, STP, JunOS, IOS, VRRP, LLDP, SNMP, OSPF etc

- Great customer service attitude & effective and decisive leadership

- Ability to work with a distributed team across diverse geographical time zones
