JOB DESCRIPTION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- As the Regional Architecture Manager, you will be attached to the Global Chief Architect and collaborate with the Group central Architecture Team. In a short term, you will also have to manage a team of 1-2 architects (direct reports).

- You will be involved in all the business and technical projects in Asia Pacific Business Units.

You will oversee :

- The technical base definition of the IS (applications, systems, platforms, technologies) and the modalities of integrating IS applications with each other and with the outside world

- The target architecture alignment according to the 3/5-year plan of the business strategy

- Follow up the architecture implementation for the various projects

- API and Data domains

Your main missions will be:

Define the 5 years architecture target and annually review the alignment with the business needs:

- Derive from the strategic business vision, the needs in technology and capacity

- Identify the changes to be implemented

- Propose to the Steering Committee the trajectory or possible trajectory options by estimating the impact and cost of the existing IS

- Guarantee the convergence of existing IS with the target architecture :

- Ensure the implementation of the current IS Convergence Plan with the target

- Maintain a central vision of the IS Architecture: actual, target, obsolescence, technical debts and estimate of risk and cost

- Anticipate and propose action plans related to obsolescence, technological and application debts

- Organize the governance of the convergence towards the target

- Ensure synergies between the BUs and the reuse of the groups solutions

- Guarantee the new projects alignment with the target architecture:

- Ensure each project's compliance with the target architecture

- If necessary, depending on company decisions, propose transitional solutions (technical debt and plan / cost of compliance)

- Guarantee the application of architectures good practices for IS

- Documentation

- Continuity

- Security

- Interoperability with market standards

- Supervise the API domain

- Support business units on this subject

- Administrate the API Gateway

- Ensure API Gateway and APIs design follow best practices

- Define the regions API strategy

- Manage the API team (a project manager and a support engineer)

Supervise the Data domain :

- Support business units on this subject

- Ensure that the regional Data platform follow Headquarters best practices

- Define the regions Data strategy

- Manage the Data team (a data engineer)

- Collaborate within the Architect community to Market Watch & Innovation

REPORTING LINE :

- The Regional Architecture Manager reports directly to the Global Chief Architect (functional) and dotted line to the Regional IT Director (operational).

Job Position Skills :

- You have been working for a group IT department or a consulting company for at least 8 years.

Technical knowledge required:

- TOGAF or proven experience as IS Architect certification

- Confirmed knowledge of on-premise and cloud technologies

- Demonstrated experience of digital architectures (mobile APP, API management)

- Good knowledge in API (especially Rest API) is required, API experience is required

- Knows an enterprise architecture tool (Mega, Aris)

- MuleSoft API experience is a strong plus

The required managerial skills:

- Demonstrated leadership ability: vision, pragmatism and team leadership

- Relational ease and ability to popularize technology with the Business stakeholders

- Listening ability, put yourself in the user's shoes
