Role: Head IT APAC

Job Summary:

Lead the IT function for APAC region while ensuring cost effective reliable and value driven IT solutions to the users within the APAC region while being responsible for the Infrastructure, Applications, Projects and Service Delivery, Architecture and Security functions for these users.

Job Description:

- Define the strategy, set objectives and measurements for APAC IT team

- Qualify the IT demands and providing inputs for the technology based on regional business and regulatory requirements

- Support business imperatives by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of regional applications and technology architecture

- Ensuring compliance and governance, such as IT risk management, IT financial compliance management, IT governance within the region and in alignment with global policies

- Leading, engaging, supporting and regularly reviewing the performance of the IT Management team and ensure the team delivers high-quality reliable infrastructure and software solutions across the region

- Providing regional IT oversight over Transitional Services Agreement (TSA) performance from provider company

- Planning, managing and budgeting IT projects and supporting teams to deliver them successfully

- Creating service-level agreements (SLAs) with business areas, and operating-level agreements between IT functions and vendors to ensure SLAs are met

- Act as the senior-management contact with Global IT management on strategic IT activities including Global digital transformation projects

What are we looking for ?

- Master / MBA preferred, Bachelor required in Computer Science, Information Systems

- Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience in IT, including experience in strategic IT transformations at regional level

- High technical know-how and knowledge of innovation trends

- Powerful stakeholder management skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships

- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases, and data storage systems

- Ability to explain and communicate technology solutions in business terms

- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructure across various technologies

- Stakeholder and vendor management
