Head - International Business
Roles & Responsibilities :
- You will own the business vertical in order to build an end-to-end strategy, insighting to promote business growth, and strong partnerships with the stakeholders, partners, and team. Strategize and plan the business activities in order to meet the vision and goals.
- Develop the business strategy and plan to ensure alignment with short and long-term objectives
- Evaluating international markets for potential business and setting up local and central teams
- Responsible for P&L ownership for multi-international business
- Owning contribution margin across component elements - Pricing/Unit Economics, Product COGS, working capital, logistics, marketing
- Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure the achievement of desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
- Create the strategy plan for sales and market share growth and profitability
- Forecasting of the Sales and Inventory, and indirectly owning the supply chain for - Manufacturing, inbound & outbound logistics
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
- Working with strategy team for pricing schemes and discounting strategies
- Closing on AOP, budgeting, and operations metrics with the Business Finance team
Requirements:
- Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills
- MBA from top-tier institutes (IIMs or International business schools)
- Entrepreneurial Mindset - Ability to think Top-Down and Bottom-up
- Exposure to building a brand internationally
- Open to travel
- Comfort with ambiguity - ability to take ownership and solve new challenges every day
- 9-14 years of post-MBA experience at high-growth startups, VCs, or with founders/ functional heads
